Bill was born in Colorado, spent a few years in Washington and then moved to the Canby area where he spent most of his childhood. At 5 years old Bill got his first tool set and became the go-to in house to help with projects including working on his parents cars. After high school Bill held many diverse positions in the retail grocery sales industry, managing a warehouse and then deciding to become an HVAC technician. Bill spent 5 years with a local HVAC company learning residential and light commercial HVAC installations and service before joining Green Box Mechanical. He has extensive experience in both installation and service of ACs, furnace, minisplits, heat pumps, and commercial roof top unit systems. Bill also is experienced with installation of ductwork and ventilation systems for fans, range hoods and building exhaust systems.
Bill and his wife have two children whom they spend time with traveling, camping and enjoying family activities. Bill is a certified search and rescue volunteer who has been involved in many searches around the Portland region including Mt. Hood. Bill served on the Search and Rescue organizations training committee designing the standards needed to have qualified and prepared teams.
